Retreat Agenda

Morning Sessions

8:30 - 8:45 Retreat Opening

8:45 - 9:00 Jazzercise | Debbie Eberly

9:00 - 9:10 Breather

9:10 - 10:30 How Your Biggest Crisis Reveals Your Greatest Gift |Dr. Debi Silber

A life crisis can be a divorce, death of a loved one, disease or devastation of some kind like abuse, betrayal, financial crisis and more. It's something that shakes you up and creates a 'psychological earthquake' where your world is compartmentalized into before and after 'it' happened.

How can that crisis be the opportunity to reveal your greatest gift? During this workshop, you will learn the following:

  • how to identify if an unhealed crisis is impacting your business, health, and relationships
  • how to use a life crisis as a launchpad for transformation
  • the 4 questions to ask to see if you're subconsciously sabotaging yourself
  • the 'benefits' to staying stuck instead of healing from a life crisis
  • how to create a strong, confident healthy version of yourself

10:30 - 10:45 Break

10:45 - 12:00 pm The Three Graces: Purpose + Joy | Talia Rosenblum

Purpose and joy go hand in hand. When you feel connected to your purpose, whatever that might be, you innately feel more joy and happiness every day.

The Three Graces in ancient mythology were the goddesses of Brightness, Joyfulness, and Bloom. In the present day, we seem to be missing these in our lives, where we are always doing, working constantly, and often not living in the present.

Most people associate their purpose with their work, whether a job in the corporate world or as a stay-at-home mom. While these are a part of who we are, they are not our life's purpose in and of themselves.

We will dive into how to feel joy and how that can give a purpose well beyond a job title. Is our purpose actually joy?  This workshop is centered around sharing shifts to help you find more purpose and joy in your life, in and out of the office.

  • The fundamentals of finding your purpose.
  • The energetics and mindset of bringing more joy to your every day.
  • How to tap into your purpose in various situations to guide you through decision-making.

Afternoon Sessions

12:00 - 12:45 Lunch | The Art of Networking -- An Interactive Lunch Experience | Courtney Harper

12:45 - 2:00 Building Resiliency | Jacqueline Twillie

Participants will learn practical tools they can take back and implement immediately in their roles with these key takeaways

  • Recognizing personal worth in everyday situations
  • Actualizing self-worth and personal power
  • Strengthening allyship for women
  • Implementing personal leadership strategy

2:15 - 3:30 What's Your Line? Using the Power of the Pen to Tell Your Story | JC Gardner

How often have you been told, "You need to write a book", and thought it was a good idea, however you could neither find the day or time to get it done? Or perhaps you have a number of topics and ideas floating around in your head but don't know where to begin. Then you may be overwhelmed by life's circumstances and think that writing a book or getting your story out there is a monumental task.

Get Ready! This interactive writing workshop is about to change your perspective on the writing process and also show how there are multiple ways to tell your story through the power of the pen. You will leave the session with an outline of key elements of your story to help jump start your writing journey. What's your line? I can't wait to find out.

3:30  Closing Remarks | Daphne Latimore
