As we wrap up the summer—and the strategic planning process for DB Latimore Professional Services Group, we are preparing to launch a number of new activities. This month, I am focused on building endurance for maximum performance and engagement.

A few of our new service offerings include the launch of our online self-study coaching series designed to support and encourage personal growth. Each program is accompanied with one-on-one coaching support at the participant's discretion. Learn More.

We have partnered with Achieve Consulting, Verdun Adventure Bound, employment attorneys and Prosci Change Management and PMI certified Project Manager to launch the 2016 HR Practitioner's Retreat—Strengthening Your HR Muscle on December 8-9 in Herndon, VA.

This conference is designed as a gathering for HR Practitioners to heighten HR skills in the latest Project Management Techniques, Organizational Alignment and Workforce Engagement., while simultaneously providing the practitioner with an experiential program to enhance skills in coaching, facilitation, collaboration and team building. Additionally, each practitioner will receive a personal behavioral assessment and a 30 minute pre-conference coaching session. Three of our modules for the conference have been approved for HRCI® re-certification credit hours; with the 4th module pending approval. Learn More.

I am thrilled to be a speaker at the 2016 total Women's Symposium-2016, where I will present our program "Your Brand Your Success." Join me in Daytona Beach, Fl.

In order to be fully engaged, I will need to prepare myself.

In the book—The Power of Full Engagement—Jim Loehr and Schwartz identify three key management principles that must be considered to manage energy and maximize our performance:

• The four separate but related sources of energy—physical, emotional, mental and spiritual—must all be addressed.

• Energy expenditure must be balanced with periods of renewal.

• To grow, we must push beyond our normal limits in the same systematic way that athletes do when they train.

This month I invite you to join me in building endurance for maximum performance. How will you prepare?

As always, I am available to assist you in your professional journey. Contact me.

Building Endurance For Maximum Performance

In the book: The Power of Full Engagement, Jim Loehr and Tony Schwartz write "The energy that pulses through us is physical, emotional, mental and spiritual."

"All four dynamics are critical, none is sufficient by itself, and each profoundly influences the others. To perform at our best, we must skillfully manage each of these interconnected dimensions of energy. Subtract any one from the equation and our capacity to fully ignite our talent and skill is diminished, much the way an engine sputters when one of its cylinders misfires."
