A NOTE FROM DAPHNE
I want to take a moment to reflect on the significant role that our culture plays in driving positive change within companies. Where many often misstep is from the very beginning; by not putting emphasis on creating an environment that values P.E.O.P.L.E. ® As a member of the Baby Boomer generation, I am happy to see how culture has become recognized as a driving force that propels teams forward. Trust me, this was not always a considerable focus 30 years ago.
Culture is the heart and soul of any organization, and it is through our shared values and beliefs that we are able to challenge the status quo and push boundaries. At the core of our cultural values is the belief that change is not only inevitable but also necessary for growth.
I’ve learned to gain a better understanding of the world around me by evolving and navigating with empathy. I even practice what I preach, by encouraging adaptability and agility amongst my own teams while embracing new technologies, industry trends, and customer needs. In doing so, we’ve been able to remain relevant as thought-leaders and experts in an ever-changing marketplace.
Moreover, our culture is built around evolution, because change is constant. We recognize that moving change forward is not a one-person effort, but a collective endeavor. With this top of mind, we are all in this together, and we’ve built a culture that we’re happy to celebrate. .
The message in all of this is that culture is not just a buzzword, but a compelling force that shapes identity and fuels success. It is through shared values, commitment to change, and impactful behaviors that we are able to uplift transformations within organizations, including our own. Let us continue to embrace our culture, leverage its power, and work together to drive change forward in a way that inspires, empowers, and creates a brighter future all!
