Can you all believe that summer is almost here?! This is the time of the year that most look forward to vacationing, however it typically takes some prep work if you plan to be OOO; and I’m not talking about including the dates on your calendar – I’m referring to ensuring business will carry on as usual while you’re out.

It’s important to ensure delegation is properly assigned for many reasons. If I’m being honest, delegation has single-handedly changed my business for the better. In Q3 of 2022, I decided to get an EA and she has been the most wonderful addition to my team. Although I know this is something that was way overdue, I struggled to relinquish control. However, I know how that on the other side of discomfort is growth; and that’s exactly what happened! I was able to focus on other areas of my business accordingly and saw a positive impact as a result.

The old saying, “If you want something done right, you must do it yourself”, is not true in all cases. In fact, I prefer to believe that if you want to go far, you’ll go together. You can truly unlock a new level that protects your well-being, drives autonomy, and builds trust. This month, I challenge you to think about the areas in your life both professional and personal where you could benefit from delegation.

With Gratitude,

Daphne

A crucial aspect of leadership and management, involves assigning tasks and responsibilities to others to achieve a common goal. There are many key elements involved with effective delegation, such as clear communication and expectations. When there’s an understanding of the different types of delegation and the necessary skills to carry out each type, you can delegate tasks even more efficiently.

Benefits of delegation include increased efficiency and productivity, as well as improved team morale and development. Mastering the art of this skillset can significantly impact your success and your team’s success.
