Happy New Year!  2014 is here and at DB Latimore Professional Services Group; we are committed to our mission of aligning an organizations P.E.O.P.L.E. ® with its Purpose.

We ended 2013 with a strong finish of double digit growth; exceeding our business plan in all three tiers: management consulting, leadership coaching and workforce seminars and retreats. A critical component to our success was the strategic partnership formed with the dynamic team of the DiaLogic Group (dialogicgroup.com) to create the Productivity Powered by P.E.O.P.L.E. ® organizational audit instrument. We successfully piloted the instrument across the country with organizational leaders from Arlington, VA to Arlington, TX. As a result of the pilot, several groups engaged us to work with small teams to improve workforce productivity, manage and resolve conflict, to create team profiles to enhance communications, and to shift the strategic focus of a specific division. We also developed relationships with management consultants, executive coaches and organizational development professionals to create a consortium of professionals to support our consultancy practice.

Building on our momentum in 2014; we will continue the dialog of Productivity Powered by P.E.O.P.L.E. ® focused on enhancing the capabilities of organizations and individuals. In addition to our consulting work we are excited to join the People to People Mission of Understanding to Cuba at the end of January. I am pleased to announce that I have been asked to continue as a featured columnist for Onyx Magazine and I will be a featured guest on two segments of the New Beginnings Talk Show hosted by Karen Delk, airing on the Princeton Cable Television network. We will post the dates the show will air on our website, once it is confirmed with the studio.

We are dedicating Thursday evenings for Leadership Learning. We support the belief that a cornerstone of the Remarkable Leadership approach is the belief that leaders must be continual learners, and that learning isn’t an “event,” but an ongoing process. Using the framework developed by Kevin Eikelberry, we are offering two seven week interactive programs: each focused on six of the 13 leadership competencies. The program will include lecture, individual and peer coaching and weekly implementation activities for each competency. Registration is now open @ dblatimore.com/calenda.

Our Authenticity Professional Women's Retreat was a huge success in 2013. We are looking forward to offering this signature event twice in 2014. The first event will be held on March 29, 2014 in partnership with the Business Services Group, in Orlando, Florida - registration will open on January 12th at ealonbusinessgroup.com.  Our second retreat will return to the Stoneridge Events Center on August 2, 2014 in Warrenton, Va.
