In this segment, Devin will explore the premises that most DE&I issues are actually leadership issues that require a balanced understanding and application of Masculine Leadership, in which men can be the critical lynchpin to successful, effective DE&I initiatives improving organizational performance.

Daphne Latimore

Daphne B. Latimore is the founder and Managing Partner of D.B. Latimore Professional Services Group, LLC a boutique firm specializing in Human Resource Management, Professional Coaching Services, and Workforce Seminars.

Daphne has over 25 years of strategic and operational experience in both the private and public sectors. As a career HR Strategist, Executive and Leadership Coach, skilled Facilitator and Trainer, and HR consultant, Daphne specialize in establishing sustainable workforce productivity programs through the development of leaders at all levels.

Daphne' is the creator of the Veracity Professional Men's Summit. As part of her passion for ensuring that organizations provide a positive work experience, she designed  Veracity to align with organizations' commitment to a culture of inclusion,  

Daphne is passionate about advancing Human Resources as a profession and is committed to ensuring that “PEOPLE” are an organization’s greatest resource. As a result of her commitment, she developed the Productivity Powered by P.E.O.P.L.E. ® workforce productivity framework based on her years of experience working with leaders at all levels to improve the workforce productivity of their organization.

Dr. Dennis Humphrey

 

 

Dr. Humphrey is the Senior Vice President, Organizational Development and Learning for the RMR Technology Group and owner/founder of PointShift LC, a behavioral management firm. 

Returning to the Veracity Professional Men's Summit for a second year as our Emcee, Dr. Humphrey will lead us through our theme "Leading through Unchartered Waters: Change Management, Inclusiveness, and Resiliency are your Oars for Success".  He will also conduct a segment on polarity management: "  "Kicking Your Own Buts":   Getting beyond our personal doubts allows for shifting a 'but' to an 'and'. 

As a motivational speaker, he has spoken at executive leadership offsites, conferences, and organizational meetings nationally and internationally.  His previous roles include executive and senior management roles in leadership development, training, talent management, operations, technology, cyber security,  and systems manufacturing. 

Dr. Humphrey has designed several seminars specifically targeted at management/leadership development using the foundational principles of Psychology.  His second book release, WE ARE NOT EQUAL, focuses on the developmental conditioning factors that influence personality, decision-making, and relationship building.

Michael K. Jackson is a Caribbean American inspirational keynote speaker, author, and Master Trainer specializing in the area of emotional resilience & well-being. As Founder and CEO of Michael K. Devin Canaday

 

Devin Canaday is a dynamic individual who has managed to excel in multiple facets of his career.  Throughout his 25 year career, Devin has garnered experience in the historical museum industry, defense, and engineering industry, worked in the education field at the K12 and academia levels, built his craft as a serial entrepreneur, and is a certified leadership coach.

Currently, Devin serves as the Associate Director for Family and Community Engagement with the Richmond City Public Schools.  In this capacity, he is focused on overhauling the division’s use of data and metrics to implement effective and impactful programs for students and fostering stronger partnerships with the broader community.  Always one to leverage every minute of his day, Devin runs multiple businesses; The STEMpreneur (STEM Education), Ayanda Leadership Institute (Leadership undergirded by DEI), and supports business operations for Living Wellness/Wellness Collective, a mental health practice. As a certified coach through the International Coaching Federation, Devin has worked with hundreds of clients ranging from corporate executives to individual contributors.
